41st Annual Sports Mela was celebrated in Mukand Lal National College

41st Annual Sports Mela was celebrated in Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar with great vigour and vivacity.The Officiating Principal of the college Dr Anil Dhawan welcomed the chief guest Mr Ashwani Aggarwal ji who inaugurated the sports mela by hoisting the flag and declaring the mela open.Dr Anil Dhawan  then presented a report of the achievements of the college.He also wished everyone present  on the auspicious occasion of Parakram Divas Distinguished sportspersons of the college lit the torch which was followed by March past in which more than 25 contingents participated.The mela was invigorated by a series of cultural events performed by various Mukand institutions.Students participated enthusiastically in a number of open competitions in the field of athletics,weightlifting,karate,yoga,tug of war, races and fun games.Priti Bhoj was organized in which more than four thousand people enjoyed sumptuous food.

The Chairman of the college managing committee Seth Ashok Kumar ji,  Dr. Ramesh Kumar,General Secretary, college governing body, Mr Bharat Aggarwal, Mrs Shivani Aggarwal, Mrs Bhavna Aggarwal, Mr Mudit, Master Vivaan,Mrs Sucheta Sagar, members of the college governing body and  Principals and teaching and non teaching staff of various institutions were present.The stage was steered meticulously by Sh Praveen Khurana,    Dr. Amandeep Batra And Dr Ankur Taya. Ms Babita Sood and Mr Vinod  from the department of Physical Education ensured that the event was a grand success.
