A four-day orientation program

A four-day orientation program was organized for the students admitted in the first year in Arts, Commerce and Science faculties at the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. The Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar, while addressing all the students, asked them to maintain discipline in the college and follow the rules given in the code of conduct of the college completely. He introduced everyone to the cultural heritage of the college and motivated the students to donate blood especially by making them aware of the tradition of blood donation going on in the college.
After this, Dr. Manohar Goyal and Dr. Rachna Aggarwal discussed in detail with the students various aspects of the new National Education Policy. The coordinators of various clubs/cells/societies of the college such as NSS, NCC, Women Study Cell, Legal Literacy Cell, E.D.C., Red Cross, Electoral Club, Theater, Cyber Cell etc. motivated the students to join various forums and told That such platforms play an important role in the all round development of the students. Dr. Pawan Gaba, Dr. Anil Dhawan, Dr. Shree Prakash, Dr. Rachna Aggarwal, Dr. Meenu Kalsi, Dr. Sumita Kanwar and Dr. Manisha played a special role in making this entire program successful.
