A lecture on First Aid for Street Animals
A lecture on the topic ’First Aid for Street Animals’ was organized by the Share and Care and Environment Club of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. The guest speaker on this occasion was Monica Gulati, President and Nakul Goyal, Vice President of Dog Rescue Organisation. The aim of the lecture was to inculcate compassion among the students towards stray and pet animals. Nakul and Monika explained in detail to the students how to take care of animals, how to provide them with food and water and how to take care of animals when they are hurt, sick. Young student Animesh Gupta, who has adopted 15 street dogs, was felicitated on the occasion. Dr. Niti Daryal, Head of the Department of Self Finance while motivating the students said that trees, plants, animals and animals also experience happiness, sorrow, hunger and thirst like human beings, so it becomes our duty to take care of our surroundings. Whatever animals and birds you see nearby, make proper arrangements for their food and drink. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna, while giving his views, described this subject as very important. He said that along with studies, students should also take care of wild animals and birds.
