A quiz competition was organized by Theater and Economics Department

A quiz competition was organized in the auditorium of the local Mukand Lal National College on September 12 under the joint aegis of the Theater and Economics Department. Under this competition, questions based on subjects like history, political science, economics, theater, general science and general awareness were asked to the participants.

The main objective of this competition based on various subjects was to promote the educational development of students and to impart knowledge of various subjects. The competition was held in the first and second rounds. Participants who scored 55 percent or more marks in the first written round were selected for the second oral round of quiz. Everyone answered the questions while introducing their talent. In the second round, 13 participants were a part of this competition.

In this competition, Prof. Dr. Deepmala, Prof. Dr. Bhavana Sethi, Dr. Poonam, Prof. Abhilav, Dr. Simardeep Singh and Prof. Vaishali were in the role of quiz masters. Dr. Deepmala, Dr. Poonam and Prof. Vaishali played the role of the jury. Dr. Shriprakash, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Dr. Manisha and Prof. Neha were present on this occasion. Dr. Dalbir Singh, Head of the Department of Economics and the coordinator of this competition, said that the winners of this competition will be sent to participate in quiz competitions organized by the Reserve Bank of India. The results of the competition were as follows-
First Place - Palvinder, BA (3rd Year)
Second Place - Aman Mishra, BA (3rd Year)
Third Place - Bhumika, BA (1st Year)
Consolation Prize - Tarun Sharma, BA (3rd Year)
The acting principal of the college Dr Anil Dhawan congratulated all the organizers and winners for the successful organization of the program and motivated the students to participate in such competitions in future as well.
