A three-day department-wise internship orientation program

A three-day department-wise internship orientation program was organized at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar on 17, 18 and 19 February. Its main objective was to make the students aware of all the rules and guidelines regarding the internship to be done by them under the new education policy. As per the instructions given by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, second year students will do an internship of 4 to 6 weeks (120 hours) after their final (fourth semester) examination and MA students after their second semester examination and it is mandatory for all of them. Professor Parveen Khurana, coordinator of the internship cell of the college, told the students in which areas they can do internship and also introduced them to their supervisors. The teacher supervisors told them what rules to follow during the internship and how to prepare the internship report. Students from all departments participated in this program and also got their questions resolved. On this occasion, all the department heads and professors of the college were also present.
The acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, while addressing the students, told them about the various MoUs done by the college and told the students that the college is making every possible effort to arrange internship for all the students and is committed to conducting internship programs as per the instructions given by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He also praised the coordinator of the internship cell, Prof. Parveen Khurana, the teachers in charge and the teacher supervisors and congratulated them for the successful organization of the programs.
