A zonal level contest was organized In continuation of National Level Declamation Contest
In continuation of National Level Declamation Contest based on the topic GITA, the final round of the same competition will take place at Gita Gyan Sansthanm, KDB Road, Kurukshetra on 7th December, 2024. A zonal level contest from Yamuna Nagar Zone, was organized by Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The national co-ordinator of the contest Dr. Anil Dhawan, formed the organzing team. The members of this team Dr. Sumita Kanwar, Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Rahul Singh and Dr. Manisha organized the event successfully. As many as 20 students from 8 institutions of the zone participated in the competition. Three topics of the contest were: Gita for the Holistic Development, Gita as a Solution of Problems and Gita: a Remedy not a Sermon. The respected judge of the competition were Dr. Shakti, Dept. of Hindi, Guru Nanak Girls College, Yamuna Nagar, Ms. Renu, Dept. of English, Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamuna Nagar and Ms. Karuna Tyagi, a Sanskrit Teacher. In the winning team Shreya from Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar got first prize, Simran from Guru Nanak Girls College, Yamuna Nagar got second prize and Yug from JMIETI, Radaur got third prize. The Offg. Principal Dr. Anil Dhawan, congratulated the organizers and elaborated the importance and place of Shri Bhagwad Gita in our life.
