An industrial visit by the Department of Chemistry

An industrial visit was organized by the Department of Chemistry, Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar on 25th May and 26th May, 2022. In this industrial visit, students of M.Sc. Chemistry were given a tour of the polyplastic industry located in Yamunanagar. This industry is working in the industrial sector for the last 50 years. The students got information about the quality of the products made there and the use of chemistry in the decoration. Human resources officer of the polyplastic industry Shri Amit Agarwal ji made the students aware of employment opportunities in this field after obtaining their post graduate degree. In this tour, along with the students, Prof. Manjeet Rani, Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Mahesh, Dr. Nitya Kaushik, Dr. Poonam were also present along with the students and they also got proper information and benefited from this visit.
The Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna congratulated all the members of the Department of Chemistry for successfully organizing this industrial visit.
