An insightful Extension Lecture on Geophysics

The Department of Physics and the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Mukand Lal National College organized an insightful Extension Lecture on Geophysics, designed to offer students an in-depth understanding of the fascinating field of Geophysics. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. B.S. Chaudhary, Chairman of the Department of Geophysics at Kurukshetra University (KUK), a distinguished geophysicist with a wealth of academic expertise and career insights. 

Dr. Anil Dhawan, Principal of the College welcomed the resource person and congratulated the organizers for the organizing such a meaningful academic event for the students.

This interactive session provided a valuable platform for undergraduate students to explore various geophysical methods used in natural resource exploration and sparked interest in pursuing Geophysics as a career path as area of study in future.

The event was also attended by several faculty members, including Dr. G.K. Sethi, Dr. Sushil Kumar, Dr. Ankur, Dr. Nitya Kaushik, Dr. Rachna Aggarwal, Prof. Manjeet and Dr. Rameshwar Groach, whose presence and support were instrumental in making the session a success.
