Celebrated the birthday of the great Tamil poet Subrahmanyam Bharati

In the conference hall of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar, the birthday of the great Tamil poet Subrahmanyam Bharati is celebrated every year on 11 December as “Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav”. On this occasion, a film based on the story “Budhi Kaki” written by eminent Hindi writer Munshi Premchand was telecasted for all the students.

The coordinator of the program, Dr. Manisha, while addressing everyone before the telecast of the film, threw light on the literary life of Munshi Premchand, whose original name was Dhanpat Rai, and told about Premchand, who gave expression to the condition of his contemporary society, social evils, the life of farmers, the condition of women and the ill practices related to them through his stories and novels. The coordinators of this program were Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Rahul Singh and Dr. Manisha.

The Principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, congratulated the coordinators for the successful organization of this program. On this occasion, Prof. Sunita Kapoor, Dr. Sumita Kanwar, Dr. Dalbir Singh, Prof. Abhilawat, Dr. Simerdeep Singh, Prof. Neha Rani, Prof. Rajendra and Prof. Sakshi etc. were present.
