Convocation ceremony 2023
The convocation ceremony was organized in the auditorium of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. On this important day of student life, the students of the college received their graduation and post-graduation degrees after completion of their education. As the chief guest on this important occasion, Prof. K.K. Aggarwal, former Pro Vice Chancellor, Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar and former chairman of the National Accreditation Board, was present. Presenting the convocation lecture in the presence of Dr. Ramesh Kumar, General Secretary of Mukand Lal National College, the chief guest congratulated all the degree holder students and also gave detailed information about the National Education Policy. He said that all the students should have the freedom to choose the subjects as per their wish as they will perform better in the subject which they will choose according to their interest. He told the students that the hard work in subjects of choice will never go in vain. Describing the importance of discipline, he also appreciated the work done by Mukand Lal National College in the interest of the society and the nation. He also appreciated the guidance of the Institute’s President Seth Ashok Kumar and General Secretary Dr. Ramesh Kumar.
On this occasion, 550 students of the college who passed the examination in the year 2022 were awarded graduation and post graduation degrees. University level toppers Hardeep Kaur, Komal, Anu, Abhishek and Navjeet were felicitated with cash prizes. Presenting the annual report of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar, the officiating Principal of the college, furnished the detailed account of the achievements of the college in the field of academics, cultural, sports, N.S.S., N.C.C., other clubs and societies.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar, the General Secretary of the College Management Committee felicitated the chief guest and honoured him by giving mementos and inspired the students who were present in the auditorium. The stage was moderated by Prof. Parveen Khurana and Dr. Bhawna Sethi. On this occasion, Dr. Ajay Sharma, Dr. R.K. Garg, Director of JMIT, Radaur, Dr. Sanjeev Garg, Dr. Anil Dhawan, Dr. Manohar Goyal, Dr. Neeti Daryal, Prof. Sunita Kapoor, Prof. Sunita Sikri and other teachers were also present.
