Debate, slogan writing and poster making competitions

Debate, slogan writing and poster making competitions were organized in the auditorium of Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar on water conservation under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan run by the Government of India. Some topics were given to the students for these competitions like - Catch the rain water, Har Ghar Jal, Save water save life etc. About 76 students participated enthusiastically in these competitions. In the debate competition Revan got first, Mansi second, Tisha third and Sudhir got consolation prize. In poster making competition, Khushi got first, Yashika second, Sundaram Kumar third and Divya and Abhishek got consolation prize. Anamika Soni got first, Chetan Kashyap second and Muskaan third in slogan writing competition. Apart from this, Gaurav and Divya received consolation prizes. At the end of the program, a pledge of water conservation was also administered to the students. Prof. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Vakil Singh and Dr. Ankur played an important role in successfully organizing this program. Dr. Rahul Singh and Dr. Manisha played the role of the jury.
