Dr. Pooja Rani, NSS Program Officer and 5 volunteer students participated in the university level seven-day NSS camp
Dr. Pooja Rani, NSS Program Officer of local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar and 5 volunteer students (Palak, Ekta, Ishika, Sajana and Siyali) participated in the university level seven-day NSS camp. This camp was organized at Gurjar Kanya Gurukul Mahavidyalaya Devdhar from January 1 to January 7, 2025. During this camp, the students participated enthusiastically in all kinds of cultural, physical, mental and other activities and also won some competitions. In this camp, the volunteer students were given detailed information about various burning issues of the society such as Start Up India, cyber crime, digital literacy, road safety, environmental protection etc. through expert lectures. This was the first seven-day camp for volunteer students from National Service Scheme, Kurukshetra University. Women program officers and volunteers from Yamunanagar, Ambala, Panchkula, Karnal and Kurukshetra participated in this camp. The camp was concluded by giving certificates to all the volunteers and program officers. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan congratulated all the volunteers and Dr. Pooja Rani for their successful participation in the camp and encouraged them to participate in such activities in future as well.
