Eco Club and Penguin Biological Society organized a terrarium competition
For the first time in the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar, Mukand Eco Club and Penguin Biological Society organized a terrarium (bottle garden) competition for the students. The students displayed their creativity through the terrariums prepared with hard work.
Dr. Rachna Agarwal and Dr. Savita Garg played the role of judges in this competition. The students participated enthusiastically in the competition and created a garden with bottles using different types of plants, which was attractive to look at. During the program, Principal Dr. Anil Dhawan encouraged the children to participate enthusiastically in such new competitions. During this program, he inspired the children by giving the example of Madam Curie, who discovered radium, and Alexander Fleming, who discovered penicillin. He appreciated the work of the children and asked the President of the Society, Dr. Rameshwar Groch and Dr. Babita Malik to organize more such activities in the future.
In this competition, Aryan got first place, Divya Girdhar got second place, Yashima got third place and Bharti Kumari, Kriti, Kumud Ansal, Kriti Walia and Vanshika were awarded consolation prizes. Dr. Manohar Goyal and Assistant Professor Ina were also present on this occasion.
