Gener Science Club organized a two-day workshop
Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar’s ’Gener Science Club’ Self Finance Department organized a two-day workshop (13th and 14th September) on science subject projects for science students under I-Hub Divya Sampark IIT Roorkee. The aim of the workshop was to generate interest in students towards making science projects. The guest speakers of this workshop were Mr. Vikram, Senior Staff Engineer, ST Micro Electronics Greater Noida and Mr. Rahul Vishwakarma, Senior System Designer, Beam Infotech Private Limited, Gurugram. In the workshop, all the elements of project, layout, etching, drilling, soldering etc. were demonstrated practically in sequence. The students also demonstrated making printed circuit boards by themselves after learning to make projects. Dr. Neeti Daryal, Head of Self-Finance Department, said that in today’s time, organizing such workshops is very important to give practical knowledge to the students. While encouraging the students to come up with suggestions for new science projects, he said that the college will provide all possible help to the students. The students benefited from this two-day workshop and it will be very helpful in their career. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, congratulated the directors of the Gener Science Club, Assistant Professor Gurmeet Singh, Meenakshi Makloha, Meenakshi Pundir and Paras Kumar for successfully organizing the workshop and asked them to organize such workshops in future as well.
