International Yoga Day by the NSS Unit

Yoga was organized in the college premises on the occasion of International Yoga Day by the NSS Unit of local Mukand Lal National College. About 175 volunteers enthusiastically participated in this program. Academic and non-academic staff of the college also participated in it. Yoga and Surya Namaskar have great importance in the intellectual, mental and physical development of a person. The program started with Surya Namaskar. Prof. Babita Sood and Prof. Rupali Sharma, playing the role of instructor, got all the students and college staff members present there to do yoga. Talking about the importance of yoga, the acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna said that with yoga you can bring stability in your life. Yoga makes a person healthy and with positive thoughts. Yoga philosophy is very necessary to connect with the soul. By adopting yoga in our life, we can become healthy. This program was organized under the guidance of NSS Program Officer Prof. Manjeet Rani, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Prof. Ajay Kumar and Dr. Poonam.
