Malkit Singh and Shreya joined the Republic Day parade

It was an opportunity for the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar to be proud that two students Malkit Singh and Shreya got a golden opportunity to join the Republic Day parade on New Delhi, Duty Path on 26 January 2023. NCC Officer Major Dr. Sriprakash and Captain Dr. Mamta Obrayi played an important role behind this achievement of the students.
It is not only a matter of pride for this institute, but it is a matter of pride for the whole of Yamunanagar that two children here joined the parade before the President and illuminated the name of the entire district.
The executive principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna, on his return to the college, welcomed him with heart and blessed him that he should illuminate the name of the college in the same way in future. Both the cadets were also honored and greeted by the Commanding Officer Colonel AP Kaushish of 14 Haryana Battalion and Sandeep Sharma by presenting a memento and private prize money. Colonel AP Kaushish also honored NCC Officer Dr. Sriprakash and Dr. Mamta Obrayi along with NCC cadets.
