NCC cadet Khushi participated in the Army Attachment Camp

NCC cadet Khushi of local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar successfully participated in the Army Attachment Camp organized at Ambala Cantt. The camp was organized from March 9 to March 20, courtesy the Haryana Girls Battalion. Eight NCC cadets from 14 Haryana Battalion Yamuna Nagar participated in this camp.
Cadet Khushi told that in this camp information was given about various activities related to NCC and Indian Army such as weapon training, map reading, first aid, social service, martial arts training, adventure etc. The cadets were also given training in handling INSAS rifles. Weapons used by the Indian Army were also displayed.
Captain Mamta Oberoi said that such camps are very beneficial for the mental and physical development of the students. College Executive Principal Dr. Ritu Kumar welcomed Khushi and congratulated her parents, Major Dr. Sriprakash and Captain Dr. Mamta Oberoi for this achievement.
