NCC unit inaugurated the river festival under the Puneet Sagar campaign

The NCC unit of local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar inaugurated the river festival under the Puneet Sagar campaign. Captain Mamta Oberoi inspired the cadets to do their part in keeping the rivers clean and administered the oath. NCC cadets carried out cleanliness drive on the banks of river Yamuna.
The acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna said that rivers are considered helpful in social, economic, scientific and many other ways. We get not only water but also pure environment from rivers. Therefore, we should take special care of the cleanliness of our rivers.
