NSS units organized a two-day camp

The NSS units of the local Mukand Lal National College organized a two-day camp on 4th and 5th September. Around 200 volunteers participated in it. The camp was inaugurated on 4th September with the NSS song. The college’s acting principal Dr. Anil Dhawan motivated all the volunteers for their contribution towards the society. On this occasion, a poster making and slogan writing competition was organized on the title ’Ek Kan Ek Kshana Rashtra Ke Naam’. The volunteers made people aware about blood donation by taking out a rally in the college premises and in the area around the college. The NSS volunteers also made people aware about the Swachhata Abhiyan in the surrounding area. All the volunteers participated with full enthusiasm in the blood donation fair organized in the college on 5th September and the college collected 322 units of blood in this fair. Dr. Manohar Goyal played an important role in the successful organization of this program. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, appreciated the work of the NSS volunteers and congratulated all the NSS officers Dr. Rahul Singh, Dr. Vakil Singh and Dr. Pooja Rani for the successful organization of the camp.
