Plantation activity by NSS Unit

Plantation was done by the NSS unit of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. In the college, NSS volunteers, program officers started the plantation activity in the college premises by college principal Dr. Ritu Kumar. The Principal of the college apprised the volunteers about the importance of trees and said that such activities add to the efforts to make the environment pollution free. Volunteers also planted saplings in the college premises and in their surrounding areas and participated enthusiastically.
During this activity, NSS Program Officer Prof. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Vakil and Dr. Pooja Rani and volunteers were encouraged for plantation. Principal Dr. Ritu Kumar congratulated the NSS officers and volunteers for this whole work and motivated them to do this type of activity in future also.
