Speech competition on Swami Vivekananda organized at Mukand Lal National College on National Youth Day

On the occasion of National Youth Day, a speech competition based on the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda was organized at Mukand Lal National College in collaboration with Atmanirbhar Bharat Cell and Department of History and Political Science. In this competition, ten selected participants showcased their talent for the first three places. About 40 students participated as listeners and enjoyed the competition.

The jury of the competition included Dr. Dalbir Singh, Dr. Amandeep Batra and Dr. Pooja Rani. As a result, Sumit Kumar got the first position, while Muskan Sharma got second and Muskan Singla got third place.

Acting Principal of the college Dr. Anil Dhawan presented the prizes to the winners. In his address, he inspired the students by sharing inspiring examples from the life of Swami Vivekananda. He said, if a student adopts even one good quality from the biography of Swami Vivekananda, he will definitely achieve success in his life.

On this occasion, he congratulated all the participants and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Deepmala, Dr. Simardeep, Abhilav Kumar, Rajinder Kumar from the organizing committee. He also said that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are still a source of inspiration for the youth and we should adopt his principles in our lives.

This program organized on National Youth Day not only provided a platform to the participants but also inspired the audience with the thoughts of Vivekananda ji.
