The second day of the Seven day NSS camp

Seven day NSS of Mukand Lal National College. The second day of the camp started with Yoga. After this the volunteers sang the Lakshya song. In the morning itself, the volunteers were taken on a tour of the workshop of Shri Dharamveer Kamboj. He taught the volunteers to be self-reliant under the ’Vocal for Local’ campaign. He also taught the students to make strawberry rabri. The volunteers also tasted the rabri prepared by themselves. In the afternoon session, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, professor of chemistry of the college, made the volunteers aware about the ill effects of drugs under the de-addiction campaign. He also tested the students’ knowledge about drugs and medicines through quizzes. In the evening session, Dr. Sandeep Rawal, an agriculture expert from Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, informed the volunteers about crop residues. Apart from this, volunteers presented in cultural programs. During this program N. S. S. Program Officers Dr. Poonam, Dr. Vakil Singh, Dr. Pooja Rani and Dr. Rahul Singh were present.
