The seven-day camp was inaugurated by the NSS of Mukand Lal National College

The seven-day camp was inaugurated by the NSS of Mukand Lal National College on 21st March in village Damla, district Yamunanagar.

 

The camp was inaugurated on the first day by N. S. S. Done with song. After this, the volunteers were encouraged by the Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar and they took the N.S.S. Best wishes to the program officers and camp participants. The speaker on the first day of this camp, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Deputy Program Coordinator, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, inspired the volunteers to create a self-reliant India on the mantra of ’Vocal for Local’. He also shared his personal experiences. After that, the second speaker Professor Sunita Sikri congratulated the volunteers on N. S. S. Motivated to connect with the society through the camp and emphasized on Vocal for Local and buying goods from local vendors to strengthen India’s economy. After lunch, poster and slogan writing competitions were organized. In the evening, volunteers presented in cultural programs and participated in various sports competitions. During this program, Dr. Neeraj, Principal Dr. Ritu Kumar, N. S. S. Program officers Dr. Poonam, Dr. Vakil Singh, Dr. Pooja Rani and Dr. Rahul Singh planted saplings.
