Udyami Chaupal was organised

Udyami Chaupal ’ was organised in Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar on 18th March ,2023. This Chaupal was organised jointly by Medha , Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship and Mukand Lal National College , Yamuna Nagar as  the first phase of Youth Scape in Haryana. Youth Scape Haryana is a ten - month entrepreneuship programme which  focuses on developing entrepreneurship skills among the students through awareness, training , seed feeding , and mentorship .The students were briefed about the ten-months orientation programme of Youth Scape,  Haryana.The first phase of this programme comprises organising Udyami Chaupals in every district of Haryana to create awareness amongst the students who want to set up their own start-ups.Three entrepreneurs- Mr. Sandeep Bajaj, founder of Sudharshan Foundation, Mrs .Rhythm Vats , founder of Rio Herbs and Mr. Siddharth Jain, CEO of Billion Strategies  from Yamuna Nagar were invited to share their start-up journey with the students and to encourage them .This was followed by a question-answer session in which these three entrepreneurs addressed the queries of the students. Dr. Anil Dhawan , HOD Commerce Department and Dr. Praveen Khurana , Incharge EDC Club advised the students to work with dedication and determination to become  successful entrepreneurs .Ms Sadaf Siraz , Mr. Piyush Gupta and Mr. Abhishek Verma from Medha were co-ordinators of this event. The officiating Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar congratulated the Commerce Department , EDC Club and Placement Cell of the college for the successful organisation of the event and emphasised on the need of organising more such programmes to hone the entrepreneurship skills of the students .
