’Udyami Utsav’ was organized under the joint aegis of Commerce Association and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) under the Commerce Department of MLN College, Yamunanagar. The objective of this fair was to make the students aware of business skills and marketing strategies and the basic principles of entrepreneurship.

The college students participated enthusiastically in this festival and set up various types of stalls. These included food items, perfumes, handicrafts, fashion accessories and other creative products. The students gave concrete shape to their startup ideas and gained experience of sales and profits and practical knowledge of business operations.

Convenor of Commerce Association Dr. Sunita Sikri and Convenor of EDC Mr. Praveen Khurana played an important role in organizing this program. College Principal Dr Anil Dhawan appreciated the efforts of the students and said that such events provide students with a great opportunity to understand the challenges and opportunities of the business world.

The active participation of the students in this fair was worth seeing, where they learned the nuances of marketing, sales and customer management of their products. This initiative motivated the students towards becoming self-reliant and introduced them to the real business environment.
