World Health Day by Red Cross Club

Various activities were organized under World Health Day by Red Cross Club at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The event was organized as per the instructions of Haryana State AIDS Control Society.

About 45 students participated in these activities. The Red Cross in-charge of the college, Dr. Rahul Singh told that World Health Day, HIV. Quiz competition based on AIDS and Tuberculosis subjects was organized. The professor of the college, Dr. Rameshwar, taught the students about HIV with the help of modern technology like power point presentation. Created awareness about AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB). Apart from this, the students are also exposed to HIV. TeachAids documentary was shown for the purpose of creating awareness on the subject of AIDS. Along with this, the National Toll Free Helpline no. 1097 and NACO About AIDS app. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna said that the students should be made aware of serious diseases. At the same time, others should also be made aware.
