Youth Red Cross Club organized various activities at Mukand Lal National College

Youth Red Cross Club organized various activities at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. Club coordinator Dr. Rahul Singh, while addressing the students, asked them to be aware of deadly diseases like AIDS and TB. Dr. Nitya Kaushik introduced the students to the prevalent misconceptions and truths about AIDS and TB. Along with this, students were also told about AIDS related National Toll Free Helpline 1097 and NACO AIDS Application with the help of which they can get answers to all the doubts related to AIDS. Apart from this, a reel making competition was also organized on the topic of HIV/AIDS awareness. In this competition M.A. Economics (Final) student Vaishali Verma stood first, B.A. Himanshi, a first year student, has done second and B.Com. First year student Vanshika secured third position.

Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar encouraged the winning students as well as other participants and organizers. He inspired all the students to continue such awareness campaigns in future also.
