Youthscape Haryana Entrepreneur Chaupal
Medha Global Alliance for Mass & Game in joint collaboration with Mukand Lal National College Yamunanagar organized the first phase of Youthscape Haryana Entrepreneur Chaupal. Through Youthscape Haryana, youth are being supported in the journey from idea to enterprise creation. In this, youth will be given awareness, training, seed funding and mentorship.
Usually, students have questions about entrepreneurship, from where to get the money to start a startup, how to build a team, what to do if the startup fails, how to market the product or services, and the most important question above all How to take the consent of the family to do entrepreneurship. To address these questions, this initiative has been taken by Medha and Game.
Youthscape Haryana is a 10-month competition, in the first phase of which students will be made aware of entrepreneurship, for which at least two Udyami Choupals are being organized in each district of the entire Haryana, in which any of the eighteen to twenty-four youths of that district Youth of the year who want to become an entrepreneur can participate. The Choupal will invite local entrepreneurs who will share their startup journey with the students and encourage them to venture into this field.
In this series, under the leadership of Dr. Anil Dhawan,[ Faculty of Commerce] Placement Cell and EDC organized Udyami Choupal at Mukand Lal National College. The program was inaugurated by Principal , Udyami Choupal Panelist, Head of Department Commerce Dr. Anil Dhawan and EDC Incharge by lighting the lamp on the statue of Maa Saraswati.
The chief guests of the event were Mr. Sandeep Bajaj, Founder, Sudarshan Foundation, Mrs. Rhythm Vats Bhardwaj, Founder, Rio Herbs, and Mr. Siddharth Jain, CEO, Billion Strategies. All these entrepreneurs are connected to their own city and are operating their business by staying here. He shared his startup journey with the students and gave an example of how a small idea can become a huge startup. The guests pointed out that the skills and knowledge required to become a successful entrepreneur are already within you, you just need to identify and hone them. He also told that ups and downs are an intrinsic part of every entrepreneur’s life. Adversity comes in every enterprise but you don’t run from it, you have to face it.
