Industrial visit of M.Sc. Chemistry and B.Sc. students Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute

The Department of Chemistry and Placement Cell of Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar organized an industrial visit on 25th March, 2025. For this industrial visit, the students of M.Sc. Chemistry and B.Sc. were taken to Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute, (CPPROI), Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. There, Dr. A.K. Dixit and his team took the students on a tour of various laboratories of the institute where the students observed various processes like pulping, bleaching, paper testing and wastewater treatment. They also interacted with scientists and researchers, thereby gaining valuable information about ongoing projects and advanced equipment and employment opportunities available in this field.
This visit proved to be highly informative and motivating for the students. Dr. Rajesh from the Department of Chemistry and Dr. Nitya Kaushik, Convener, Placement Cell were also present with the students in this visit. Executive Principal of the college Dr. Anil Dhawan congratulated the organizers for this successful industrial visit.
