A 10-day offline workshop on cyber security and web application security was organized by the Self Finance Department in collaboration with Microsoft and ICT from 7 to 18 January 2025 at the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The workshop lasted for a total of 140 hours.

Mr. Sarvagya Rai of ICT Academy, who has more than 4 years of experience in the cyber security industry, was the resource person for this workshop. The final year students of BCA, BSc IT Honors, BSc (Computer Science) were given theory and practical knowledge of cyber security, web application security, system hacking, security operations center.

The training was conducted in hybrid mode in three phases. In the first and second phase, faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and students of the above classes were trained online and 60 shortlisted students took personal training with Shri Rai.
The workshop was successfully organized under the guidance and direction of Dr. Neeti Daryal, Head of the Self Finance Department. The overall coordinator of the workshop was Dr. Rajiv Kumar Sharma. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan congratulated and wished the department for the success of the workshop.
