A classical music singing competition was organized on the occasion of Basant Panchami

A classical music singing competition was organized on the occasion of Basant Panchami on 13 February 2024 by the music department of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. This competition was organized in the memory of Ustad Rashid Khan. In this competition, students of music department presented Khayal Gayan, Thumri and songs of Rashid Khan ji. In this competition, Deepak, a student of music department, got first position and Rahul and Ravi got second and third position. Other professors of the college were also present in this competition. This competition was organized under the guidance of Dr. Neeti Daryal, Head of Self Finance Department.
On the successful organization of this program, the Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar, awarded the winners and congratulated the professors of the Music Department, Prof. Vidhu and Mukesh Kumar and inspired them to organize such activities in the future also.
