A day-long bazaar was organized as part of the celebration of BHARTIYA BHASHA DIVAS
On November 4th, 2023, as part of the celebration of BHARTIYA BHASHA DIVAS, Mukand Lal National College in Yamunanagar organized a day-long bazaar in the College campus, uniting students and faculty members for a day filled with festivities. The Entrepreneurship Development Club, Atmanirbhar Bharat Cell and Self-Finance Department of the College jointly organized this event. The vibrant bazaar featured approximately 40 stalls, offering a delightful array of food, games, and various products. Students brought their creative ideas to life, contributing to the diversity of the event. In a successful event focused on marketing and business skills, students have not only gained invaluable insights but have also demonstrated their profit-making capabilities across various sections. The Think Tank Club, for instance, amassed approximately Rs. 1600 through the sale of cupcakes and brownies, while the Law and Taxation Club took the lead, raking in the highest profit of Rs. 2250 at the product display stall. Ring the thing game organized by Share and Care club earned maximum profit of Rs.700. The majority of clubs participating in the event achieved impressive profits, showcasing their entrepreneurial prowess.
The event was overseen by Dr. Neeti Daryal, Mr. Parveen Khurana, and Dr. Deepmala, who served as the event’s conveners. Dr. Ritu Kumar, the esteemed principal of the college, graced the occasion with her presence and took the time to visit each stall. She commended the hard work and dedication of the students, acknowledging that organizing such a large-scale event was a remarkable achievement for the college staff and students alike. Her words of encouragement boosted the students’ morale.
