A lecture was organized by the Chemical Society

A lecture was organized by the Chemical Society of the Department of Chemistry at the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. The keynote speaker for the event was Professor Dr. Ramesh Kataria from Punjab University, who shed light on the adverse effects of heavy metals, addressing the topic: "The Use of Heavy Metals—A Boon or a Curse?" Undergraduate and postgraduate students participated in this lecture. During his address, he encouraged the students to pursue higher education.
Approximately 100 students from the college attended the lecture and gained a detailed and nuanced understanding of the subject matter. The college’s Acting Principal, Dr. Anil Dhawan, congratulated all members of the Department of Chemistry on the successful organization of the lecture and emphasized the importance of conducting such lectures periodically to enhance the students’ knowledge.
Present on this occasion were the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Prof. Manjeet Rani, along with Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Prof. Asha Rani, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Prof. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Nitya Kaushik, and Dr. Poonam.
