A live session of the Union Budget for the financial year 2023-24

The Department of Commerce and Post Graduate Department of Economics of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar organized a live session of the Union Budget for the financial year 2023-24 in collaboration with the Law and Taxation Club and Financial Literacy Club. In this session the students were briefed about this important national programme. On this day the government prepares its plans for the upcoming financial year and announces major economic reforms.
Dr. Anil Dhawan (Head of Department of Commerce) educated the students about the first budget of Amritkal and the importance of being financially wise and aware in the current economy. The event was successful under the efficient guidance of the College Executive Principal Dr. Rahul Khanna and Dr. Niti Daryal (Head of Self Finance Department). The session was organized by Dr. Anil Dhawan (Convenor), Dr. Manohar Goyal (Co-Convenor) and Dr. Amandeep Batra (Co-Convenor). On this occasion, Assistant Prof. Praveen Khurana and Assistant Prof. Sunita Sikri (Department of Commerce), Assistant Prof. Dalbir Singh, Dr. Bhavna Sethi and Dr. Mamta Bhagarv (Department of Economics), Club Incharge Vandana, Kamal Kishore, Rajeev Sharma, Taranjit Kaur and Gunjan (Commerce) Department) were also present.
