A program by Youth Against Drugs Club and Anti Tobacco Cell

A program was organized in the college premises on September 16, 2023 by the Youth Against Drugs Club and Anti Tobacco Cell of the local Mukand Lal National College. The objective of which was to make the students aware about drug-free India and to give them information about the mental, physical, familial and financial harm caused by drug addiction. In this program, the students were given an oath that “I will never consume tobacco and tobacco products and will inspire my close acquaintances also not to do so.” A video clip related to this was also shown to alert the students about the ill effects of consuming tobacco and tobacco products on the body.
On this occasion, College Executive Principal Dr. Ritu Kumar inspired the students to avoid the use of tobacco and other intoxicants and lead a healthy life. He appreciated the work of Dr. Mahesh (Nodal Officer Youth Against Dogs Club) and co-coordinator Dr. Pooja Jain and encouraged them to organize such programs in future also.
