A seminar on the topic Indian Civil Services as a Career Option

A seminar on the topic “Indian Civil Services as a Career Option” was organized by the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The keynote speaker was Dr. Aditya Sharma IAS Punjab Cadre. In the presence of 180 students in this seminar, the program started with the welcome address of the acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan. He emphasized on the students to set goals in their lives and keep making continuous efforts to achieve them and motivated them not to let any kind of willpower decrease during this time. After this, Dr. Aditya Sharma told that by making continuous efforts, any student can get selected in the Indian Civil Services. We should avoid any kind of negative thinking and the preparation for UPSC should be inspired by the spirit of social service. He answered all the questions of the students. His way of satisfying the curiosity of the students was very good and beneficial. After this, share your experiences on how to prepare for UPSC paper and how to solve case study. The program was organized under the direction of Dr. Nitya Kaushik, Dr. Vakil Singh and Dr. Pooja Rani. The program ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Nitya Kaushik. Dr. Shri Prakash, Dr. Rachna Aggarwal, Dr. Savita Garg, Dr. Dalbir Singh, Dr. Rahul Singh, Dr. Umang Bareja, Dr. Ankur, Dr. Rameshwar Groch were present there. Dr. Anil Dhawan congratulated for the successful organization of the program and encouraged to keep organizing such activities in future as well.
