A special lecture on how to get selected as an officer in the army

A special lecture was organized for the final year students of Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar on how to get selected as an officer in the army. Dr. Mamta Oberoi, Head of the Department of Statistics, organized the lecture. The lecture was delivered by Shalini Negi, Director, Defense Academy. He informed the students very closely about how candidates are selected under NDA, CDS and SSC. It is possible to join the army after completing your studies from college. Army teaches you everything and makes officers capable of leading in every field. Captain Mamta Oberoi said that in the selection process of Indian Army Agniveer Bharti, the candidates will now have to first appear in the entrance test and then physical and medical training will be conducted. Major Sriprakash told the students about the Indian Army race that every youth has to run 1-6 kilometers in 5 minutes 30 seconds and how to keep himself fit to join the army.
