Active coordination of the Training and Internship Cell
In consistent efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry, the Department of Self-Finance Courses at Mukand Lal National College continues to implement the NEP-mandated internship programs effectively. Under the active coordination of the Training and Internship Cell various reputed companies have visited the campus to offer valuable internship opportunities to students. In the coming months, JST Pvt. Ltd., Root Analysis, Ziion Technologies and more will also be visiting the college for the same purposes. 284 students from second year self-finance courses have been provided with internship platforms through these companies. These initiatives aim to bring to fruition the internship agenda for 4th semester students across the department, ensuring that students gain practical experience aligned with their respective domains.
The internship selection process typically starts with a pre-internship talk, followed by aptitude tests and interviews to assess students’ skills and industry readiness. The department is actively working to strengthen industry collaborations, and more companies are expected to visit in the coming months for internship drives, which are likely to convert into final placement opportunities. These continuous efforts are being carried out under the guidance of Dr. Neeti Daryal, head of Self-Finance Courses. These initiatives have been possible and continue to prosper under the leadership of principal, Dr Anil Dhawan.
