An awareness lecture on the occasion of World Health Day

Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar organized an awareness lecture was successfully organized on the occasion of World Health Day by the Youth Red Cross and the Legal Literacy Cell to promote community health awareness among students.

The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished medical professionals who shared valuable insights on various health issues. Dr. Sumita Soni, President of IMA Haryana State, along with Dr. Bulbul Kataria, Deputy Civil Surgeon, Dr. Ritu Maggo, Dr. Bhawna Sharma, Dr. Renu, and Dr. Prerna from Mukand Civil Hospital, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of community awareness in maintaining overall well-being.

Dr. Bulbul Kataria educated the students about the significance of oral health and hygiene, while Dr. Nisha delivered an informative session on cervical cancer, highlighting its prevention and early detection. Dr. Ritu Maggo spoke about menstrual hygiene, stressing the need for proper awareness and breaking social taboos surrounding the topic.

The lecture proved to be highly informative and engaging, encouraging students to adopt healthier lifestyles and spread awareness within their communities.
