M.L.N. College Celebrates Shakespeare’s Birth Anniversary with
"The Oratory Gallery"
Yamuna Nagar: The Department of English at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar, organized a spirited oratory contest titled "The Oratory Gallery" to commemorate the birth anniversary of William Shakespeare, the legendary Bard of Avon.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all academic streams. Showcasing a blend of literary flair and public speaking prowess, participants presented self-composed write-ups on diverse and contemporary themes, including the suggestions for the current education system and the emotional complexities of personal loss.
The contest aimed to foster creative thinking and hone the oratory skills of the students, providing them with a platform to express original ideas. Dr. Anil Dhawan, Principal of the college, lauded the English Department’s initiative. Addressing the gathering, he encouraged students to navigate their future paths with unwavering focus. The event was seamlessly coordinated by Mrs. Sunita Kapoor, Dr. Rahul Singh, and Dr. Pooja.
The proceedings concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sumita Kanwar, Head of the English Department.
