Awareness Rally Organized to Promote a Drug-Free and Tobacco-Free Society

Mukund Lal National College, Yamunanagar organised an awareness rally on September 19 in the college campus to make the students aware about the ill effects of drugs and tobacco.
The rally was organized under the joint auspices of the Police Club, Anti-Drug Awareness Cell, Tobacco Control Cell, NSS, Youth Red Cross Cell, NCC, and the Sports Department. The rally inspired students to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
On this occasion, students raised awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and tobacco through awareness slogans, posters, and messages. Students were also informed about the physical, mental, and social side effects of drug abuse.
College Principal Dr. Manohar Goyal appealed to students to participate in the rally in large numbers and play an active role in building a drug-free society. Approximately 80 students participated in the rally. Heads of various cells and departments, faculty, and students participated enthusiastically.
