Competitions were organized by Sigma D Mathematical Society

On the occasion of Indian Language Day, a quiz competition on national unity and a logo design competition on unity in diversity was organized by the Sigma D Mathematical Society at the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. The participants participated with great enthusiasm and the best six teams were selected in the quiz. The competitions were conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. Rachna Agarwal, Dr. Savita Garg, Dr. Deepmala and Assistant Professor Umang Bareja, in-charge of Sigma: The Mathematical Society. Shubham and Tanisha and other members of the society contributed in organizing this program. The winner of Logo Design was Shivangi Walia B.Sc 2nd year who created an attractive logo design. The first winners in the quiz competition were Abhishek, B.Com second year and Vineet, BA third year. Kumkum Rani and Nishita Chaudhary, B.Sc. 2nd year stood second. Jaspreet Singh and Nikita Saini, M.A. 1st year stood third. All the winning students were honored with certificates. Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar, congratulated all the organizers and winners for the successful organization of the program.
