District Level Science Quiz Competition

Today’s era is the age of science. New inventions of science and technology have brought the whole world so close to us that we can know and understand the global culture, human values, traditions and human social relations in a better way by sitting at one place. Keeping this objective in mind, a district level science quiz competition was organized in the college on behalf of ’Haryana State Council of Science, Research and Technology’ while celebrating the nectar festival of independence in the premises of local Mukand Lal National College. In which 30 students of 10 teams from 6 colleges participated and represented their respective colleges.
The program was inaugurated by the Executive Principal Dr. Rahul Khanna by lighting the lamp in front of Maa Saraswati and while addressing the participants, said that ’Without science, today’s life and development of the world is impossible. If we want to hoist our knowledge flag in the world, then we have to connect with the basic knowledge of science and technology. Today’s competition is a powerful dimension of this episode’. In the final round of the quiz, Dr. Nitya and Prof. Ankur played the role of quiz master. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna congratulated everyone for the success of this program and honored the winning students with prizes and certificates. Dr. Khanna also congratulated the convener of the competition, Prof. Manjit Rani and Dr. Neeti Daryal.

On this occasion Prof. Anil Oberoi, Dr. Gulshan Sethi, Dr. Rajiv Kalsi, Dr. Meenu Kalsi, Dr. Sarita Bhandari, Dr. Rachna Aggarwal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Deepmala, Dr. Savita Garg and Dr. Mahesh Kumar were present.
