District level science quiz competition

A district level science quiz competition was organized on September 10, 2025 in the conference room of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. This competition was organized by Haryana State Council of Science, Research Innovation and Technology, Panchkula. In these competitions, 14 teams from seven colleges of the district participated in the science quiz competition. All the participants performed well. Dr. Poonam and Dr. Umang Bareja played the role of quiz master in the quiz competition.

The acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, while addressing the students, explained the importance of competitions related to scientific context. Explaining the importance of quiz competition in the education system, he said that such competitions are very important for the overall development of the students. The results of these competitions were as follows-
First place in Quiz competition- Harshika, Palak, Rashi - M.L.N. College, Yamunanagar, Second place- Harivansh, Shubham, Mahak Kumar - J.M.I.E.T.I., Radaur, Third place- Ridhima, Avinash, Mahak - M.L.N. College, Yamunanagar, Fourth place- Priya, Shivam, Simran - Government College, Chhachhrauli, Fifth place- Pranshu, Shagun, Vriti - Guru Nanak Girls College, Yamunanagar team.
Dr Dhawan honoured the winners by giving them prizes and certificates and congratulated and wished the coordinators of the competitions Dr Mamta Oberoi, Dr Ankur and Dr Rameshwar for the successful organisation of the programme.
Mainly Dr. Savita Garg, Dr. Manjit Rani, Dr. Deepmala, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Prof. Asha, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Prof. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Nitya Kaushik, Assistant Prof. Meenakshi Makloha, Niket, Suman Rani, Neha and Ina along with others were present in the program.
