Documentary and other competitions to celebrate India Space Week
The Department of Physics, Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar, organized a series of competitions and Documentary show to celebrate India Space Week from 18th and 19th August, 2025. The events aimed to raise awareness among students about the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), its missions, and the diverse career opportunities in the field of space science and technology.
Students shared their creativity and knowledge on various themes related to space exploration and India’s achievements in space research by participating in Essay writing, painting and speech competitions. The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different streams, reflecting their keen interest in the area of space science and exploration.
Dr. Anil Dhawan, Principal of the college congratulated the winners and encouraged all students to continue nurturing their curiosity about science and technology. He also emphasized that such events not only enhance knowledge but also inspire young minds to pursue careers in space-related institutions.
