Earth Day-2023 Celebration

NCC cadets of local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar celebrated Earth Day-2023 by participating in various activities and taking out a rally in the college. This program was done under the guidance of Colonel Sandeep Sharma, Administrative Officer of 14 Haryana National Cadet Corps. The program was presided over by Major Sriprakash and Captain Mamta Oberoi. This day was celebrated with the aim of spreading awareness towards nature. Cadets planted saplings in the college premises on this day. Cleaned the college campus. Poster making competition was also organized on this day. The students who made the best first three posters were awarded. A lecture was also organized on the occasion in which the cadets were told about the dire need to save nature and the earth amid new challenges with time. In the race for development, the responsibility of protecting the environment increases. The lecture was delivered by Shalini Negi, Director, Defense Academy, Yamuna Nagar.
On this occasion, College Executive Principal Dr. Ritu Kumar said that it is very important to make everyone aware of the reasons for which the earth is being harmed and how it can be reduced.
