Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar organised NSS Orientation Programme

Yamunanagar, September 3 , 2026 ( ): Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, hosted an NSS orientation program. The program was inaugurated by the senior NSS captain. He introduced the students to the NSS’s motto, objectives, and various activities and encouraged more students to join the NSS and actively contribute to social service.
On this occasion, students were encouraged to actively participate in various NSS activities, such as blood donation camps, tree planting, cleanliness drives, and awareness campaigns. Students were encouraged to bring positive change to society, understand their social responsibilities, and contribute to nation-building.
Students organized a blood donation awareness rally to encourage people in the surrounding area to donate blood at the 54th Blood Donation Fair to be held at the college on September 5th. Senior NSS Captains Shreya, Gaurav, Mandeep, and Riddhima, under the guidance of NSS program officers Dr. Rahul Singh, Dr. Umang Bareja, and Dr. Ankur, played a key role in the successful organization of the event. They assisted in program management, registration, attendance, arrangements, and other necessary tasks. Students also participated enthusiastically in the event and expressed their interest in NSS activities. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
College Principal Dr. Manohar Goyal praised the work of NSS officers and volunteers and encouraged the students to actively participate in social and national welfare activities.
