National level online poster making, slogan writing and rangoli making competitions

National level online poster making, slogan writing and rangoli making competitions were organized by the Legal Literacy Cell and Electoral Literacy Club of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar on the occasion of “Voter’s Day” on January 25, 2024. The objective of these competitions was to make students aware of their voting rights. 81 students from different states participated with great enthusiasm in these competitions. All participants performed better. Dr. Rachna Aggarwal, Dr. Mamta Oberoi and Assistant Prof. Manjeet Rani (Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar) and Assistant Prof. Gaurav Bareja (Maharaja Agrasel College, Jagadhri) played the role of the jury. The results of the competitions were announced on February 9, 2024.
In the poster making competition, Praveen, a student of Chhajju Ram College of Education, Hisar, and Nishita Chaudhary, a student of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, got the first position, Deepika Yadav, a student of Government College, Faridabad, and Khushi, a student of RG Government College, Bhiwani, got the second position. Keerthana G.S., student of Kamaraj College, Thoothukodi and Kumkum Rani, student of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar stood third. In the slogan writing competition, Jyotish, student of MDSD College, Ambala and Ashish Kumar, student of MD University, Rohtak, stood first, Shubham, student of Delhi University, Delhi and Khushi, student of Government College, Gurugram stood second and Government College, Rohtak stood second. Aastha, a student of Sirsa, and Karishma, a student of Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Palwal, stood third. In the Rangoli Making Competition, Raveena, student of IG (PG) Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kaithal and Afroz, student of Dayanand Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kurukshetra, got first place, Ankita, student of Maharaja Agrasen PG College, Jhajjar and Ekra, student of KVA DAV College for Women, Karnal got second place. place and Mona Kumari, a student of D.A.V. College for Education for Women, Karnal, got third place. All the winners were honored with citations and cash prizes.
Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar, congratulated Dr. Savita Garg, Prof. Umang Bareja and Dr. Vakil Singh on the successful organization of this program and said that such activities are very important for the overall development of the students.
