National Science Day was celebrated by the Chemical Society

National Science Day was celebrated by the Chemical Society of the Chemistry Department of the local Mukand Lal National College. Under this, poster making, scientific rangoli, poetry and speech competition were organized. Whose titles were Women in Science, Cave Man and Today’s Technology, Application of Physics, Chemistry and Math in Daily Life, Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future, Space and Technology. The main objective of this event was to increase the knowledge of the students in the context of science, in which the students participated enthusiastically. The role of the jury was played by Dr. Meenu Kalsi, Dr. Savita Garg, Dr. Ankur and Prof. Umang Bareja. The results of the competitions were as follows:-
1. Poetry recitation competition:- Simran got first position, Sajal got second position and Sakshi got third position.
2. Elocution Competition:- Shruti got first position, Tisha got second position and Riya got third position.
3. Rangoli Competition:- Sahil got first position, Prachi got second position and Anjali got third position.
4. Poster Making Competition:- Tisha got first position, Rushali, Anjali and Vanshika got second position and Sneha Pandey got third position.
Executive Principal of the college Dr. Ritu Kumar congratulated Prof. Manjit Rani, Head of Department of Chemistry and Executive Incharge of “Chemical Society” Asha Rani and Dr. Nitya Kaushik for successfully organizing the program and encouraged them to conduct such activities in future as well. .
