National Science Day was celebrated

National Science Day was celebrated by the Physics Department of the local Mukand Lal National College to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. Under this, lectures were organized for the graduate students. The chief speaker of the program, Dr. Sarvesh Kumar, Scientist IUAC, New Delhi, gave a detailed lecture on the topic of Particle Accelerators to the students. The main objective of the lecture was to make students aware of research and to increase their inclination towards scientific activities.
The Executive Principal of the college Dr. Rahul Khanna congratulated the Head of Physics Department Dr. Ankur and all the other members of the department on the successful organization of the program. Prof. Pankaj Gulati, Anita and Meenakshi were present on this occasion.
